Dr A A Verma is a renowed Psychiatrist from Kanke, Ranchi. He started the Happy Minds Clinic with the aim to provide Comprehensive Mental Health care to the residents of Ranchi and districts nearby and to lessen the stigma attached with Mental illness.

        Dr Verma did his MBBS from Calcutta National Medical College, Kolkata and choose Psychiatry as  Specialization. He completed his Post Graduation ( MD Psychiatry ) from one of the most reputed and renowned Mental Health setups in our country i.e. Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP) Kanke Ranchi.

     He has recieved special training in Deaddiction Psychiatry, Child Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry (old age problems), Epilepsy and Adult Psychiatry for sure.

       He has done his Thesis on “Use of rTMS for Opioid Deaddiction” and has expertise on Recent and less known modalities used for Brain Stimulation like Electroconvulsive Therapy, rTMS, tDCS which are very well used for treatment resistant cases of Depression, OCD, Psychosis etc.

      Thereafter Dr Verma did his Senior Residency from Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow and currently working as visiting Consultant in Hospitals nearby.
    He is an active member of Indian Psychiatric Society providing access to attend various CME, Workshops and his recent published article online is on “Efficacy of cTBS-rTMS on the Orbito Frontal Cortex as an adjunct to Naltrexone and its correlation with Serum BDNF levels: A sham controlled study”.
